art629's is hosting a student art exhibition showcasing work by adults and children who attend weekly painting classes and private lessons instructed by Brittany James.
Students will be in attendance and light refreshments will be served. Some of the work will be for sale with proceeds going towards the Asbury Park Holiday Toy Drive.

Please join us for a celebration of art and community this holiday season. Bring an unwrapped toy to donate, buy some art to support local artists, or just stop in to learn more about our painting classes.

On Nov 21 and 22 from 6-8 pm, art629 will host a pop-up art show titled “UnCensored” confronting censorship, social control, suppression, and the erasure of marginalized voices.
-
Participate in our “Interactive Wall of Freedom” where visitors can write what they’re afraid to say on our gallery walls.
-
View art exploring themes like censorship, patriarchal and political control, and personal expression by local artists
-
Listen to spoken word artists reading banned poetry, and music by local artists representing freedom of expression.
This exhibition will focus on the pain and powerlessness of being muted or erased. Experience what it means to create, speak, and exist freely in a world that silences dissent. Reclaim your voice in our interactive art experience. Each piece becomes a form of rebellion, transforming silence into presence. We invite viewers to see what cannot be said through using art as a creative weapon against repression.
This exhibit is part of “Fall of Freedom”, a nationwide wave of creative resistance aimed at uniting the arts community in defiance of authoritarian forces.
